For Couples: A few Etiquettes to consider

Send out Invitations

Ensure the Invitation has all pertinent details of the wedding

Keep Guests in the Know

Use of a wedding website, group email or some communication format to keep guests updated.

Consider Food Allergies

Ask guests and make plans to accommodate dietary needs

RSVPs

Give your guests a reasonable amount of time. The time frame should be at least 4 to 6 weeks after they receive the invitation or about 2 to 3 weeks before giving the final head count to your caterer.

Be Clear on Gift or any Registries

Inform guests and have a diverse price range.

Give directions. 

If you’re hosting your wedding ceremony and reception at two different sites, you’ll want to provide your guests with adequate directions, maps, and time to get from one place to the other.

Wedding Theme or Dress code

Ensure it is reasonable and works with the weather 

Event Order of Program

Keep Guests informed at the event by way of a Order of program or Emcee compering the event
